I have been called to serve a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the... (are you ready for this?) ... Fiji Suva mission. I will be learning and teaching the people in French. Best of all I get to wear a skirt ( probably dark pants most of the time) and sandals!!!!

I will leave Jan 7 for Utah where I will learn French etc at the Missionary Training Center. I don't have a date yet, but probably after 6 weeks I will head to Fiji - there the local Mission President will decide where ( which island or area) I will go to for several months at a time.
